Memorial Hospital West is seeking a patient care assistant to support nursing staff in Pembroke Pines, FL. Under the supervision of an RN, you will perform basic patient care tasks and related clinical support activities to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient status, and helping with transport as needed. EKG and phlebotomy competencies are required within six months of hire date.

Competenze

• No degree required.
• BLS certification required.
• BLS RQI ECARD required.
• BLS Grace period for essential credentials.
• BLS Red Cross certification required.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Keep patient rooms and areas stocked, clean and orderly.
• Perform basic patient care tasks delegated by an RN, including monitoring vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, glucose checks, and I&O recording.
• Report abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with patient transport as needed.
