Job summary

Qualifications

• No formal degree required as part of this role.
• BLS certifications from recognized authorities are mandatory.
• Three months of patient care experience or completion of a formal training program is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities under RN supervision, including vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, blood glucose, and intake/output.
• Keeps patient rooms and areas stocked, clean and orderly; assists with daily living activities.
• Transports patients as needed and reports any changes to nursing staff.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
