Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support RN or LPN in delivering individualized patient care. You will work as part of a collaborative team, performing clinical procedures and non-clinical tasks essential to patient wellness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (CNA/CPTC preferred) and BLS certification within one month. Missouri-specific training of 175 hours will be completed during new-hire orientation, within 90 days; lifting up to 50 pounds and standing long

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or enrolled in a healthcare program.
• BLS certification required within one month of hire.
• CNA certification preferred; PCA competencies to be completed within 3 months.

Responsibilities
