Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working in patient care/elder care 1-2 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) is preferred.
• Certifications as Certified Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy.
• Help patients with hygiene tasks such as bathing and dressing.
• Assist patients in turning, repositioning, and moving.

Skills

Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions

Knowledge of medical terminology

Strong patient/customer service skills

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Proficient computer skills

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent
