Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Muskegon is hiring a Part-time Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for 12-hour day shifts. The role supports RN with patient hygiene, daily living activities, and comfort, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

The schedule includes 72 hours per pay period with rotating weekends; orientation required; eligible for medical/dental/vision, 403b, tuition reimbursement, CEU, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or 6 months of direct Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Tech experience, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in the Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral.
• Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing divers perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights for assistance or by rounding.
• Provide or assist patients with personal hygiene including showers, oral hygiene and dressing/undressing.
• Transports patients as needed for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintains a clean and uncluttered environment in patient rooms.
