Job summary

Trinity Health in Michigan is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Assistant to respond to patient call lights, take vitals, assist with hygiene, and transport patients, under the supervision of a nurse.

The rotating shift requires clear communication, teamwork, and adherence to care standards; BCLS certification is preferred within one week of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent experience preferred.
• BCLS certification within one week of hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights for assistance or by rounding.
• Obtain vital signs from patients.
• Provide or assist with personal hygiene including showers, oral hygiene and dressing/undressing.
• Transport patients for procedures, transfers or discharge.
• Maintain a clean and uncluttered patient environment.
• Collaborate with RN on patient condition and progress.
