Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Technician for the Newton-Wellesley Hospital area. You will perform essential patient care tasks, document in the EHR, and support nursing staff during night shifts.

The role requires strong patient interaction, basic medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. BLS/certifications preferred; 0–1 year experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS and national certifications preferred.
• 0–1 year patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document point-of-care tasks, vital signs, EKGs, bathing and other patient care activities.
• Assist RNs and physicians with exams and treatments as required.
• Document intake, outputs, and glucose results in the EHR.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Maintain stocked, clean patient rooms and assist with equipment.
