Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide or assist with basic direct patient care under the supervision of an RN, following established skills checklists. Responsibilities include reporting changes, assisting with vital signs, personal care, transfers, and monitoring, while keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, STNA preferred and BLS required within the new hire period.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with basic direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Report abnormal findings to RN; assist with vital signs, ADLs, transfers, and monitoring.
• Maintain patient rooms; demonstrate professional, caring conduct and teamwork.
• Read, write and speak English; perform basic clinical math as needed.
