Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Northeast Baptist Hospital seeks a dedicated nurse aide to deliver compassionate basic nursing care under RN supervision. You will support multiple units, including maternal/newborn and pediatric areas, ensuring comfort and safety for patients from teens to adults.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patients, and maintaining clear documentation. Minimum education is a high school diploma; CPR/BLS is required within hire.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred completion of Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic or Medical Assisting course.
6 months experience in healthcare or knowledge of basic medical terms helpful.

Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care under RN supervision.
Care for patients aged 15+ across units, including maternal/newborn, pediatric, and adult care.
Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
Perform basic clinical tasks and monitor patient status.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to nursing staff.
