Job summary

Baptist Health System is seeking a patient care support role. Under RN supervision, provides basic nursing care for assigned group of patients in general units, maternal child, pediatric, GI lab, surgical services, and other areas as needed.

Eligible candidates provide high school diploma; preferred Nurse Assistant/EMT/Medical Assisting course with 6 months healthcare experience and CPR/BLS certification; hospital policy. Join a system with 120+ years of history and a wide network of services.

Qualifications

Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic or Medical Assisting course.
Preferred experience: 6 months in healthcare or knowledge of basic medical terms.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of an RN, provides basic nursing care for assigned patients.
Care areas include General Nursing Units, Maternal Child, Pediatric, GI Lab, Surgical Services, Emergency, and others as needed.
