Roxborough Memorial Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support daily living activities and basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role emphasizes safety, compassionate patient interactions, and teamwork within a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will have CNA certification with BLS, a background in acute care, and knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred on hire.
• EKG certification preferred on hire.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsabilités

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• Maintains a safe environment on the unit per direction of the RN in charge.
