Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (CNA) to join our fast-paced clinical team. You will float across several hospital teams, providing nursing support and patient care during day shifts (6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.) over three 12-hour shifts per week.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Current BLS certification is required.
CNA credential in state of practice is required for new hires; Tucson exceptions apply.

Responsibilities

Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and participate in the patient plan of care.
Collect and document patient data including vital signs and intake/output.
Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
Support nursing staff with procedures and equipment as directed by a licensed professional.
Maintain patient records and ensure chart forms are accurate and accessible.
Assist with patient transport and equipment handling as needed.
Maintain office and supply levels and support unit operations.
