St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for our Med Surg Unit in Ft. Thomas. The 20-hour weekly schedule includes two day shifts and rotating weekends, with a strong focus on patient support and teamwork.

You’ll receive on-the-job training, orientation time, and preceptor guidance to help you grow in a Magnet-recognized system that values care, compassion, and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform vital signs.
• Knowledge of body mechanics.
• General computer skills and applications.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and maintains clerical duties for the designated unit.
• Greets patients/visitors and answers phones with courtesy.
• Completes worklist tasks under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care under RN or LPN guidance.
