Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support direct patient care on a designated nursing unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain patient safety, and help with basic nursing tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include assisting with telemetry, transporting supplies, and supporting patient and family interactions to enhance the overall care experience. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required.
• 16- and 17-year-old applicants may be considered with a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old students do not need a high school diploma to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, walking).
• Monitor and maintain patient safety and environment; assist in telemetry and basic nursing tasks as directed by RN.
• Support patient flow, transport within unit, and assist with documentation and data collection.
