Job summary

OhioHealth in Dublin, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist Registered Nurses in providing direct patient care on a designated medical unit. You will help with activities of daily living, maintain room cleanliness, and support safe patient flow; you will also collect basic data, document observations, and communicate with the RN to ensure timely care throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living.
• Willingness to work night shift.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming and mobility.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms, unit and equipment.
• Record data (vital signs, intake/output) and communicate observations to the RN.
• Transport patients and deliver items as needed to support care.
• Assist with basic nursing tasks and telemetry monitoring as directed by the RN.
