Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant to assist the Registered Nurse in providing direct patient care on a designated nursing unit. You will support daily living activities, observe patient needs, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and offers growth in a patient-centered, high-reliability setting. Night shifts and flexible hours are available on the Med Surg Unit 1.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 16–17 year olds may be considered only with a valid work permit.
• 18-year-olds in high school do not need a diploma/work permit to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and unit.
• Support nursing staff and communicate patient observations and needs.
• Perform basic nursing tasks and data collection as directed by RN.
