Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Preferred completion of a Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic or Medical Assisting course.
• Active healthcare provider BLS within 60 days of hire; Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provides basic nursing care for assigned patients.
• Cares for pediatric to geriatric patients across units with appropriate supervision.
• Supports maternal-child, nursery, pediatric, GI lab, emergency and surgical services as needed.
• Maintains patient comfort, safety and ongoing monitoring in a clinical setting.
