Brown University Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care from admission to discharge. You will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and perform essential personal care skills while following hospital policies and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting observations in the EHR, and maintaining a safe environment. Rhode Island license as Nursing Assistant and BLS certification are required.

Formación

• Rhode Island Nursing Assistant license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified in BLS.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Registered Nurse to organize work and set priorities.
• Under RN supervision, perform Personal Care Skills.
• Perform Basic Nursing Assistant Skills as outlined by Rhode Island Department of Health.
• Provide rehabilitation support with activities of daily living and assist with ambulation.
• Maintain a safe environment and report unsafe conditions and equipment issues.
• Communicate patient observations to RN promptly.
• Follow hospital and department policies and infection control procedures; document data in the EHR.
• May function as a patient observer if needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
