Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and CNA, PCT, or other equivalent education.

• Must pass the Greenwich Hospital Competency Program before providing patient care independently.

Responsibilities

• Assists the nurse in providing care to patients as delegated.
• Provides direct patient care including vital signs, phlebotomy, and assisting patients on/off stretchers and beds.
• Demonstrates professionalism, patient-centered care, and effective communication with patients and staff.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment and addresses patient concerns promptly.
• Demonstrates respectful, compassionate care and keeps patient privacy intact.
• Wears appropriate identification and adheres to departmental guidelines.
