Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support patient care on the unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment under RN supervision.

Your responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, documenting findings, and communicating promptly with the nursing team to ensure high-quality care and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 17 years of age.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Nurse Assistant certification preferred.
• Must obtain BCLS/CPR within 3 months of hire.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living as delegated by RN.
• Obtain and document vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Deliver supplies, specimens, and meals as directed.
• Provide safe patient environment and assist with mobility.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and families.
