Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant to support patient care across all ages, under supervision of a Nurse Manager. You will document observations electronically and work as part of a collaborative team to maintain quality care and safety standards.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, Good interpersonal skills, BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days, and English literacy. Cardiac Stepdown experience or training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Basic computer skills to document observations electronically.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.
• Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• For Cardiac Stepdown: complete MetroHealth EKG training and pass the Basic EKG Test with 85%+ within probation.
• Ability to communicate effectively and problem-solve.
