Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring for an on-site Nursing Assistant at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. The role supports the clinical team with patient care tasks, vital signs, EKGs, and daily activities to promote a safe and compassionate environment.

RN and physician assistance is expected as needed. Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years healthcare experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience 1-2 years required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred or required as applicable to role.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties including vital signs, EKGs, bathing and other sanitary tasks.
• Assist RNs and physicians with exams and treatments as required.
• Document patient information such as height, weight, intake/output and glucose results.
• Receive and direct Medical Staff, personnel, patients, and visitors.
