Job summary

Under the supervision of the Transportation Manager, the driver ensures safety, assists with boarding and transfers, and secures wheelchairs and passengers for every trip.

Qualifications

• Must have a chauffeur's license.
• Experience with frail or elderly population preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Proficient in using MS Office or equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers on a door-to-door basis according to a pre-arranged schedule.
• Ensure passenger safety from pickup to drop-off and assist with boarding/disembarking.
• Secure all passengers and wheelchairs in the vehicle before moving.
• Maintain daily trip logs and vehicle maintenance reports.
