Responsibilities

• Greets patients, maintains patient flow, prepares labels and verifies patient data.
• Assesses patient condition to determine effective sample collection method.
• Verifies test requests and clarifies ambiguities before proceeding.
• Prepares supplies and collects samples.
• Instructs on non-blood specimen collection (urine, 24-hour samples, stool).
• Ensures samples are labeled, processed, and delivered to courier.
