Job summary

Hot Springs Health Program is seeking a Part-Time Home Health and Hospice CNA to provide personal care and related services in the home, under supervision of an RN or therapist. The role supports home health and hospice patients per their plan of care, with duties including comfort, hygiene, safety, and timely communication with the care team.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, current CNA certification, and a NC driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and current CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient comfort and hygiene.
• Ensure quality and safe delivery of home care services.
• Perform technical skills and procedures as ordered by physicians and supervised by an RN.
• Communicate with co-workers, patients, family, and other ancillary departments.
• Supply responsibilities.
• Accept responsibility for personal growth/Accountability/Time Management.
• Provide respite and/or continuous care for hospice patients.
• Post mortem care.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
