Job summary

Arkansas Hospice in North Little Rock, AR seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide personal hygiene for patients and maintain a safe, orderly environment within the interdisciplinary care plan.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completion of a CNA training and competency evaluation, and a valid Arkansas CNA license; experience in hospital, long-term care, or hospice is preferred.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED; satisfactory completion of a CNA training program per Arkansas guidelines.
Experience: Previous direct patient care experience preferred in hospital, long-term care, or hospice.

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene and daily care under RN supervision.
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful patient environment per the plan of care.
Document patient status and activities; monitor vital signs and report changes to RN.
Assist with transfers, mobility, feeding, and meal setup; support comfort and dignity.
