Hospice East Bay is seeking a part-time Thrift Store Donations Driver in Pleasant Hill, CA. You will drive a company truck to pick up donations, transport items between stores, and assist in stores and warehouses.

The role emphasizes reliability, compassion, and customer service while supporting hospice care for the community. This position requires a high school diploma, a clean DMV record, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company truck for scheduled donation pickups at private homes and businesses.
• Deliver donations and merchandise between thrift store locations.
• Assess donated items for quality and usability.
• Keep accurate records of miles driven and donations received.
• Help maintain the truck, including fueling, cleaning, and servicing needs.
• Assist in stores with lifting, rearranging merchandise, and moving large items.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, trimming landscape, sweeping, and basic handyman duties.
• Maintain the Concord warehouse, keeping it clean, safe, and organized.
