Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a licensed MD or DO with residency training in the applicable specialty. The physician will perform histories, physicals, and develop treatment plans with input from the care team.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, communicating with families, and educating patients on wellness. Qualifications include board eligibility or certification, ongoing learning, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
• Licensed by the state licensure board in practice and board certification/eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examination of all patients.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and approved guidelines.
• Assess patient growth, development, and communication appropriate to age.
• Communicate with referring physicians, patients and families timely and appropriately.
• Coordinate patient care and make referrals as needed; collaborate with other professionals.
• Educate patients and families; teach wellness habits and prevention.
• Maintain knowledge of current medical practices and ensure confidentiality and safety.
