Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in the United States is seeking a compassionate, motivated full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing setting. You will provide resident-centered care, working with a team committed to dignity and clinical excellence.

The role offers a Sunday-Thursday schedule (flexibility available), with a starting pay of $32/hour based on experience and availability.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Certification: NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensure: Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a COTA.
• Experience: Prior OT-related experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy based on treatment plans created by the OT.
• Monitor patient progress and document records per facility policies.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing to educate patients and families on exercises and equipment.
• Lead or assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic tasks to promote independence.
