Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in a full-time and PRN capacity.

You will support the OT in treatment plans, help residents regain independence in daily activities, document sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes. We offer a sign-on bonus, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensed in Tennessee.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents.
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely per standards.
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the OT.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes.
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies.
