Qualifikationen

• RN license or 3 years paramedic/OP org experience required.
• Experience in organ recovery, preservation, or tissue recovery preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and patient/family interaction.

Aufgaben

• Follows policies of LifeShare, Advocate Health, AOPO, CMS, UNOS and other bodies.
• Collaborates with LifeShare team, hospital staff, physicians, and surgeons to direct donor evaluation/management.
• Provides input in referral and donor/organ recovery processes using critical care knowledge.
• Interacts compassionately with grieving families and staff.
• Makes decisions on case complexity and escalates when needed.
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement.
• Follows direction of AOC/Medical Director to ensure proper donor management.
