Formación

• Six months of experience working in an eye care related position.
• Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through University of Utah Health; must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred certifications: NCLE and ABO.

Responsabilidades

• Assist and educate patients in selecting frames and lenses based on individual needs.
• Process eyeglass and contact lens orders, including pricing, payments, and documenting patient charts.
• Teach new contact lens wearers how to insert, remove, clean and care for lenses.
• Repair and adjust eyeglasses while ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Manage inventory of contact lenses, eyeglass frames, accessories, tools, and office supplies.
• Provide office support by answering calls, scheduling appointments and checking in patients.
• Maintain clean, organized eyeglass displays and perform frame assembly/lensometry as needed.
• Attend continuing education to stay updated on optical technology and advances.
