Highlands Oncology Group in Springdale, AR, is seeking a Scheduler for the CARE Clinic to ensure timely access to oncology care. The role focuses on intake, scheduling, and work-up of new patient referrals, with potential Medical Assistant coverage as needed.

The ideal candidate has Medical Assistant training, oncology experience preferred, and strong communication skills. This on-site position offers full-time hours and a benefits-oriented environment emphasizing patient-centered care.

Mansioni

• Coordinate a patient’s care from referral through long-term surveillance.
• Schedule new patients within 7 business days of receipt.
• May speak with Genetic patients to obtain medical history and pedigree.
• Pre-load new patient charts with medical and social history.
• Import imaging reports into the chart for clinic prep.
• Compile each new patient’s CARE Clinic folder.
• Handle urgent referrals and ensure same-day processing.
• Send monthly batch of screening orders and follow up on all outgoing orders.
• Provide education and support to patients.
• Answer CARE Clinic phone line and triage patient needs within 24 hours.
• Manage appointment reminders for all CARE Clinic appointments.
• Keep APPs and manager informed of patient progress and concerns.
