Job summary

Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH, seeks an Office Nurse (RN/LPN) to support Oncology/Rheumatology. You will provide direct patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement care plans.

The role requires an NH nursing license (RN or LPN), an associate degree or higher, and strong communication and documentation skills. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Nursing.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse license required (NH) or Licensed Practical Nurse license (NH).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report changes promptly to team members.
• Administer medications and treatments per hospital policies and protocols.
• Provide wound care and other prescribed treatments.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment options.
• Support and advocate for patients ensuring compassionate, respectful care.
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Other duties as assigned.
