Job summary

Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH is seeking a part-time Infusion Center RN in Oncology. You will provide direct patient care and assist with chemo/infusion therapies. The RN must hold an NH license; ONCC chemotherapy certification and ACLS are preferred. Training is provided for infusion-specific duties and patient education.

This 3-day-per-week role offers a competitive hourly salary based on experience along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NH RN license required.
• Oncology/infusion experience preferred; not required as training provided.
• ONCC chemotherapy/biotherapy certificate preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Associated degree or higher in nursing is required per education section.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Advocate for patients, ensuring compassionate and respectful care.
• Comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain safety.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
