Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Maryview Medical Center to support patient treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will document progress, implement established treatment programs and serve inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and off-site locations as part of the continuum of care.

The role requires state licensure as an OTA, with BLS either preferred at hire or required within 30 days for BSMH, and optional COTA

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of current practice (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH).
• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Provides age-appropriate therapeutic interventions as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintains accurate and concise records on treatment provided and patient’s progress.
• Observes and reports patients’ responses to treatment and progress and reports to the Occupational Therapist.
• Collaborates with Occupational Therapist and other health team members to coordinate treatment programs.
• Assists in assessment of client’s daily living skills and capabilities.
• Designs and adapts equipment in working/living environments.
