Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare seeks an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and quality of life post-illness or injury. You'll work with a team to evaluate needs, design individualized care plans, and provide essential therapy to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Must have OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered) certification.
• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Texas.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support to be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop therapy plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families to foster engagement in recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners for seamless care transitions.
• Guide therapy assistants or students while upholding company values.
