Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Must hold Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) or Occupational Therapist (OT) certification.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• 1 year of occupational therapy experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient functional abilities and needs, developing therapy plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions promoting independence and quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting plans and documenting quality outcomes.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement.
• Collaborate for seamless transitions of care and exceptional experiences.
• Guide therapy assistants or students in line with HCA values.
