Job summary

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) required.
• Licensed in the state of Texas required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must be able to work weekend shifts and occasional weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient’s functional abilities and needs.
• Develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners for seamless care.
