Job summary

You will supervise aides and students as needed, document care, and coordinate with families and physicians to ensure continued care and outcomes. Strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or entry-level Master's in Occupational Therapy
• Current licensure to practice OT in MA
• Minimum of one year OT work experience
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization and time management to manage patient load

Responsibilities

• Evaluates referred patients using tests, measurements and history.
• Recommends treatment plans with patient/family and physician including goals and duration.
• Administers therapeutic techniques and monitors patient response.
• Assists in orientation, training and supervision of aides, students and volunteers.
• Documents patient care accurately in the medical record and for billing.
• Coordinates care with patient, family, physician, staff, vendors, or facilities.
• Maintains and enhances professional knowledge through continuing education and literature review.
• Participates in departmental meetings and performance improvement activities.
