Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the Winchester Hospital team, planning and delivering individualized therapy to improve function and reduce pain. You will document outcomes, coordinate with physicians, and participate in discharge planning to support long-term patient health and satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy and Massachusetts licensure, with a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualificações

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
• Massachusetts OT license required

Responsabilidades

• Performs and documents an initial examination to identify problems and determine a working treatment plan.
• Plans, prepares and carries out individually designed treatment plans to improve or restore function, alleviate pain and enhance patient outcomes.
• Re-evaluates the effectiveness of treatment and adjusts interventions to maximize benefit.
• Communicates with patients and practitioners regarding outcomes and expectations during care.
• Records prognosis, treatment and progress in the EMR and provides discharge updates.
• Participates in discharge planning to optimize long-term outcomes.
• Engages in community activities to raise awareness of Winchester Hospital rehabilitation services.
