Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network in Flower Mound, TX seeks a Nutrition Services Aide to assist in delivering nutrition services in a skilled nursing setting. You may prepare and/or serve meals, assemble trays, wash dishes, assist with dining room setup, and help with basic sanitation and meal delivery throughout shifts.

Qualifications include a current state Food Handler Certificate; experience in food service and equipment use is preferred; and the ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of Nutrition Services.
• Prepare and/or serve meals and assemble patient trays.
• Wash tableware and cleaning of dining areas and equipment.
• Prepare dining room tables and trays with proper tableware.
• Deliver nourishments and supplements identified with patient labels.
• Maintain sanitation standards and log activities as assigned.
• Identify and correct safety hazards and help with linen delivery.
