Qualifications

• Current state Food Handler Certificate is required.
• Experience in food service and with food service equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation and quality standards.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, and utensils.
• Clean and sanitize equipment as assigned.
• Complete logs as assigned.
• Set up dining tables and patient trays with proper tableware and condiments.
• Assist in food preparation and portion servings.
• Prepare and serve beverages for trayline and dining rooms.
• Perform cleaning tasks per schedule.
• Deliver nourishments and supplements as labeled.
• Maintain tray tickets and make necessary changes.
• Deliver soiled linens to laundry.
• Identify and correct safety hazards.
• Prepare for between-meal nourishments and wrap flatware as needed.
• Clear and wipe dining areas after meals.
• Maintain dishwashing, sinks, and work tables daily.
• Empty trash cans and clean as assigned.
