Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the facility's administrative structure.
• Report accidents/incidents to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Answer phone during mealtimes and assist with errands.
• Assist with secretarial tasks at the nursing station.
• Maintain resident rooms and common areas in a clean, organized state.
• Follow policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
• Check residents for changes in condition and report promptly.
• Transport residents to meals, activities, and outdoors.
• Provide Reality Orientation as instructed.
• Assist residents with packing and transfers when needed.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties related to nursing care.
