The role requires safe patient handling, vehicle safety checks, clear documentation, and strong communication with residents, families, and staff. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a driver, preferably in healthcare or similar setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to safely assist and transport elderly or mobility-impaired residents.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and scheduled activities.
• Assist residents safely in and out of the facility vehicle as needed.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Follow all facility transportation policies and applicable safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate transportation schedules and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, medical offices, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide respectful, patient, and compassionate service to residents at all times.
