Job summary

Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia is seeking a dependable Resident Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and activities, ensuring comfort and safety.

You will assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, perform basic vehicle checks, and maintain transportation records while delivering courteous service to residents and healthcare providers. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, in a caring facility setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Previous driving experience preferred; healthcare or senior care experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely assist elderly and mobility-impaired residents.
• Dependable, professional, and patient with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments and activities.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the facility vehicle as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain transportation schedules and required documentation.
• Provide professional and courteous service to residents and healthcare providers.
