Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care as part of the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
• CNA training and certification provided by facility.
• Continuing education credits required annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Follow infection prevention and control policies and PPE usage.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and meals.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transferring, positioning, ROM, and range of motion exercises.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and participate in committees as needed.
