Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital-Macomb in Mount Clemens, MI is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) on a PRN/Per Diem basis. The role involves assisting with bathing, feeding, hygiene and mobility, and performing hourly rounds to support patient care on a critical illness recovery unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of relevant work experience).
• CNA certification or hospital experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care for patients.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
