Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred - or higher.
• NAI listing with NC Department of Health and Human Services required.
• Current American Heart Association HeartSaver or higher certification required.
• De-escalation training must be completed within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement activities and data collection.
• Assists in providing direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintains infection control, safety, and adherence to policies.
• Documents in the medical record and communicates with the care team.
• Supports unit goals and cost-effective use of equipment and supplies.
