Job summary

Care New England Health System in Rhode Island seeks a Nursing Assistant to perform various patient care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical training and more than six months job-related experience or equivalent.
• RI State Nursing Assistant license is also required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general patient care and perform routine treatments and procedures under the Registered Nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene to promote patient comfort and well-being.
• Check and record intake and output; take and record vital signs.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment with stocked supplies and functioning equipment.
• Maintain patient records and document care accurately; report changes to RN/Team Leader.
• Support caring for seriously ill patients and assist in complex treatments or procedures.
